মাইকেল মধুসূদন দত্ত বাংলা ভাষার বিখ্যাত কবিদের একজন। তিনি যে ভাষায় কবিতা লিখেছেন, সে ভাষা এখন অনেকের কাছেই বোঝা মুশকিল তিনি যে পৌরাণিক বিষয় নিয়ে লিখেছেন তা ও এখন অনেকের কাছে অপরিচিত এমন কি, ব্যক্তি হিসেবে ও তিনি ছিলেন সাধারণ মানুষ থেকে দূরে সেজন্য মাইকেল এতো বড় কবি ও নাট্যকার হলেও অনেকের কাছে আজ ও অপরিচিত সেই অপরিচিত মাইকেল কে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এই বইয়ে পাঠক শ্রেণীর কাছে মাইকেলের আত্নজীবনীর সহজ - সুন্দর বর্ণাতীত গল্প এই বইয়ে বলা হয়েছে।
Such an incredibly complex story! I had to buy it because there was a waiting list of 30+ at the local library for this book. Thrilled that I made the purchase
I read this book shortly after I got it and didn't just put it on my TBR shelf mainly because I saw it on Reese Witherspoon's bookclub September read. It was one of the best books I've read this year, and reminded me some of Kristen Hannah's The Great Alone.
